Is it permanent, how many treatments are required
and how frequent?
Treatment results may vary among
clients. The FDA defines permanent hair reduction as the long term, stable
reduction in the number of hairs re-growing after a treatment regime. In
most cases hair removal can be accomplished with 3 to 10 treatments. The
number of treatments required for best results is dependent on the amount
of hair, the thickness of the hair follicles, the area being treated and
your body’s unique cycle of hair growth. We cannot predict how many
treatments you will need. Hair has three distinct growth cycles: anagen
(active), catagen (resting) and telogen (dormant). Treatment is only
effective during the anagen cycle. Treatments must be staggered due to the
different growth cycles of each hair follicle.
